The village of Ceriale is located in the plain of Albenga and is one of the most famous and popular seaside resorts in Liguria. Ceriale is located on the Riviera di Ponente, on the slopes of Monte Croce (541 meters above sea level). The municipality is located on the eastern edge of the plain of Albenga and belongs with its territory to the Comunità Montana Ingauna. It is about 34 kilometres from the provincial capital Savona.
