The witch will there wherever you go in Blatten-Belalp. You will fall under her spell at the “Hexenkessel” (witch’s cauldron) leisure park just as much as you will in the holiday village. Belalp-Riederalp suspension bridge
Opened in 2015, the suspension bridge connects the two villages of Belalp and Riederalp. It is part of the Aletsch Panorama Trail, which runs along the Aletsch Glacier and, with a length of 124 metres, is one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in Europe. It was built at a height of about 80 metres above the Massa Gorge and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape, the Aletsch Glacier and the Valais Alps.

Alles sehr Familienfreundlich
Die Anlage und das Skigebiet sind sehr Familienfreundlich. Für uns passt das perfekt. Die Infrastruktur ist meines Erachtens etwas übertrieben. Das Fitnesscenter wird wenig genutzt. Da wäre Sparpotenzial um die Mieten etwas tiefer zu halten.

Wunderbare Skiferien
Super Basis für Skiferien auf der Belalp. Vielen Dank ans ganze Team. Ein Verbesserungspunkt betrifft die Anzahl / Aufteilung der Betten in den Wohnungen. Wir hatten als 5-Köpfige Familie eine Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern. In diesem Jahr hat unsere kleine Tochter noch im Kinderbettchen im Elternschlafzimmer geschlafen. Nächstes Jahr ist sie vermutlich zu gross. Schade dass es im Kinderzimmer keine Schlafgelegenheiten für 3 oder 4 Kinder hat (Kajütenbett?). So müssen wir nächstes Jahr das Ausziehsofa in Betrieb nehmen, was uns umständlich erscheint bzw. bei unterschiedlichen Aufstehzeiten zu Schwierigkeiten führen könnte. Natürlich könnten wir eine noch grössere Wohnung buchen, dies erscheint uns aber dann fast zu gross, bzw. wollen wir nicht noch grösseren Familien diese seltenen grossen Wohnungen wegschnappen. Wie gesagt wäre ein Kajütenbett im Kinderzimmer eine aus unserer Sicht ideale Lösung für 5-Köpfige Familien. Auf unseren Aufenthalt im nächsten Jahr freuen wir uns natürlich trotzdem sehr. Rundum super Urlaub
Wir kommen schon lange ins Reka Blatten und freuen uns immer wieder von Neuem. Die Nähe zum Skigebiet, die Gastfreundschaft der Mitarbeitenden, die grosszügigen Wohnungen, die Erreichbarkeit, der Familienabend. Alles schlicht super. Das Feriendorf ist nun etwa 11 Jahre alt und es gibt wirklich wenig, was wir verbessern würden. Hier die Punkte, welche noch Potential haben: -das Wifi hat sich in letzter Zeit massiv verschlechtert. Die Verbindung bricht teils zusammen und auch wenn eine Verbindung besteht, ist diese von sehr schlechter Qualität. Anscheinend hat der Anbieter gewechselt, was auf Kundenseite eine nicht brauchbare Wlan-Verbindung bedeutet. Wir haben in diesem Winter (wir waren zwei Wochen in Blatten, in verschiedenen Wohnungen) stets nur über unseren privaten Hotspot das Internet gebrauchen können. Dies ist ein Punkt, der dringend verbessert werden muss. -Matratzen: gewisse Matratzen wurden in der Zwischenzeit durch dickere, etwas weichere ersetzt und mit Matratzentopper ergänzt. Es wäre sicher gut, wenn auch noch die restlichen Matratzen ersetzt würden, sodass alle Gäste den selben Schlafkomfort haben. Die alten Matratzen sind eher dünn und hart und deswegen überträgt sich jede Drehung im Bett auf den Lattenrost, sodass es immer Lattenrostgeräusche gibt. Bei den neuen dickeren Matratzen mit Topper ist dies nicht der Fall. Merci vielmal für die super Gastfreundschaft, die wir jedes Mal erfahren!

Einfach tolle Ferien
Es passt einfach alles. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sauber und qualitativ super ausgestattet (Bamix Stabmixer, etc.). Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Ferien.

Negativ: - jährliche höhere Preise - Wiederbuchung beim Auschecken nicht möglich, da Wohnungen bereits Ende Oktober freigeschalten werden und bereits vergriffen sind. Folglich gehe ich davon aus, dass man kein Interesse an Stammgästen hat - Vorauskasse 1.5 Jahr im Voraus, damit man eine Wohnung hat - Reka hat für mich nichts mehr zu tun mit der "Grundidee einer Genossenschaft" und "familienfreundliche Ferienbedingungen", ist mittlerweile nur noch Profit getrieben

About the region
