Bergün/Bravuogn lies at 1,376 m above sea level. The sights of the village centre include the Engadine houses richly decorated with frescoes and oriels, the Romanesque church in the centre and the 13th century square tower La Tuor. The Kurhaus Bergün, built in 1905 and 1906, is considered a remarkable Art Nouveau building with well-preserved or restored furnishings and original canteen kitchen.
In summer, hiking and theme trails such as the famous Preda-Bergün railway adventure trail or the popular Heidiweg are very popular. The spectacular Albula Railway, the heart of the UNESCO Albula-Bernina line of the RhB, dominates the landscape with its galleries and towering viaducts. Railway enthusiasts can gain an overview of the complex layout of the Albula railway line from the almost full-scale model in the local museum.
