The famous UNESCO Albula-Bernina line on the fiery red Rhaetian Railway runs through the middle of the village, past typical Engadine houses with their bay windows and sgraffito-covered facades.
In Bergün, the railway is an integral part of the holiday experience. You can discover the famous viaducts on beautiful walks. And with your free train pass (summer season), you can go on excursions all over the canton.
There's never a dull moment in the Reka holiday village Bergün. Speeding down the mountain on two runners. Bergün offers this experience twice: The Preda-Bergün sledge run is a pleasure for all ages. The Rhaetian Railway train takes you over viaducts and through helical tunnels to Preda, from where you sled the 6 km down into the valley. Even more adventurous and fast-paced is the 4.5 km Darlux-Bergün sledge run with tighter curves and more gradients.

Die persönlichen Gespräche und der persönliche Kontakt zum Hauswartteam schätze ich sehr. Ich fand es toll, dass sich die Wohnung direkt im Haupthaus befand und wir somit einen direkten Zugang zum Hallenbad hatten. In verschiedenen Räumen hat es Möglichkeiten für die Kinder mit den vielen Spielsachen sich zu beschäftigen. Alles ist in einwandfreiem Zustand und überall ist aufgeräumt. Ein grosses Dankeschön an die Betreuuenden der Anlage, wir kommen gerne wieder :-).

Leider gibt es in Bergün kein grössere Behindertengerechte Wohnung und wir müssen nach vielen Jahren in Bergün ein alternativ Lösung suchen.

Your holiday home in Bergün
Bergün / Bravuogn is located at an altitude de 1,376 meters, in the heart of the Grisons. Among the many places of interest in the village centre feature the typical Engadin houses richly decorated with frescoes and traditional oriels, the Romanesque church and the 13th- century ‘La Tuor’ tower in the town square. The Kurhaus Bergün, built in 1905 and 1906, is considered a remarkable Art Nouveau building with well-preserved or restored furnishings and its original extensive kitchen.
In the summer, hiking trails and theme paths beckon, such as the well-known Preda-Bergün rail adventure trail or the popular Heidi trail. During the winter months, a whole variety of snow sports await you. Skiing, snowboarding, winter walking, cross-country skiing or the 6km-long Preda-Bergün toboggan run bring guests down to the railway village.
The spectacular Albula Railway, the centrepiece of the UNESCO Albula-Bernina RhB line, shapes the landscape with its galleries and towering viaducts. Rail enthusiasts will appreciate the almost entirely true-to-scale railway model in the local museum, with an overview of the complex routing of the Albula railway line.
Graubünden, the largest holiday region in Switzerland, is home to 1,000 mountain peaks and the source of the mighty Rhine. In Graubünden, the Swiss National Park, countless hiking trails, bike trails and ski runs await you. Arrival from the north
Train: Via Chur-Thusis-Tiefencastel-Filisur-Bergün (express train station). 7 minute walk to the Reka holiday village. Village crossroads: Signpost to the Reka holiday village for pedestrians. Bicycle trailer for luggage transport.
By car: Via N13 Chur-Lenzerheide or Domleschg (Thusis)-Tiefencastel- Filisur-Bergün Follow the “REKA” signpost at the village crossroads. Take the road between the Preisig pastry shop and the Volg shop, and continue to the Reka holiday village.
