Obtaining the Reka-Card via your employer
Many employers grant a generous discount when you obtain the Reka-Card. This is how it works: employees receive a pay-in slip for a specific Reka-Card credit. After the first payment, you receive your personal Reka-Card by post, loaded with your share and the employer’s contribution.

Reka-Rail+ is earmarked for climate-friendly means of transport. This currency enables you to benefit when you buy rail tickets, public transport season tickets, mountain railway tickets, car- and bike-sharing offers, etc.

Reka-Card as a gift from the employer
Have you received a Reka-Card as a present from your employer and already possess a Reka account? If so, you can quite simply transfer the credit from the gift card onto your account using the customer portal, under “Transfer non-personalized Reka-Card”.
If you do not yet have a Reka account, we recommend you register the card online. The Reka-Card is not just a simple gift card that you throw away once you’ve used it. It can be topped up again at all times.

You have already used up your Reka-Card credit and would like to continue to travel cheaper on public transport, get an indirect reduction when you fill your tank or enjoy reduced-price leisure activities? You can top up your Reka-Card quite simply from home via online banking with a 2% discount or at Coop with a 3% discount.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose which forms of money are available on my Reka-Card?
The employer chooses the form(s) of money, the quota and the discount. If you would like to purchase additional money forms, you can do so. You will then receive our discount for individuals without an employer as a sponsor discount.
Do I have to close my Reka account if I quit my job?
You can still keep your account. If your new employer also offers Reka Money as a fringe benefit, your previous account will be transferred. If not, you can still keep your account. Without an employer as a sponsor we offer you a two per cent discount on every purchase. You would have to pay the account maintenance fee.
Is it possible to order an additional Reka-Card for a family member?
Of course. You have the possibility to order partner and junior cards for your account.
