
Activating an additional form of Reka Money
This way all your forms of Reka Money are ready for use
Is your Reka-Card not working when you select a particular form of Reka Money? Here you’ll find useful tips to ensure that in future your Reka-Card works perfectly. With your Reka-Card you can pay with up to three different forms of Reka Money: Reka-Pay, Reka-Rail+ and Reka-Lunch. In the customer portal you can view your different forms of Reka Money, including an overview of their credit balance.
Each new form of Reka Money must be activated at the payment terminal. This is how activation works on your Reka-Card:
- Make any payment with your Reka-Card using the existing form of Reka Money.
- Insert your Reka-Card into the payment terminal and enter your PIN. Very important: the new form of Reka Money cannot be activated during a contactless payment.
- All your forms of Reka Money are immediately available on your Reka-Card. For each payment you can select the credit you wish to use on the payment terminal – naturally only when the acceptance point accepts different forms of Reka Money and if your credit is sufficient.

Which form of Reka Money will be debited?
You’re wondering which form of Reka Money will be debited when paying with your account? If the acceptance point accepts several forms of Reka Money, for a contact-based payment (with insertion of the Reka-Card) you can select the required form of Reka Money on the pay terminal screen. If the acceptance point only accepts one form of Reka Money, this is automatically debited. For a contactless payment (holding the Card against the terminal), at an acceptance point accepting several forms of Reka Money, the choice is not possible. The direct debit is made as follows:
- Reka-Lunch
Prerequisite: Reka-Lunch is activated on your Reka-Card and the acceptance point accepts this form of Reka Money.
- Reka-Rail+
Prerequisite: Reka-Rail+ is activated on your Reka-Card and the acceptance point accepts this form of Reka Money.
- Reka-Pay

Cancellation of payment in spite of sufficient credit
Your Card has sufficient credit but the payment is nevertheless cancelled with the justification “Funds too low”? This can occur if too little credit is available in another form of Reka Money on your Card. Repeat the payment process using the contact-based method (by inserting the Card in the terminal). This way you can manually select the form of Reka Money with sufficient credit you require.
Important: The form of Reka Money cannot be selected for contactless payments.

Have you registered the Reka-Card as a means of payment, in the app SBB Mobile for example, and do you wish to pay with the new form of Reka Money? You must add the Reka-Card as a new means of payment in the app and, during the process, select the new form of Reka Money (Reka-Rail+, Reka-Pay, etc.). The new form of Reka Money will then be ready for use.

- By using the quota you receive via your employer, an employer organization or a federation in the form of a QR invoice.
- By topping up directly online via your customer portal with a 2% discount.
- By displaying your Supercard at selected Coop sales outlets (Coop supermarkets, Jumbo and Coop City) and Coop branch offices with a 3% discount.
