Rougemont is nestled in the upper Saane valley in the canton of Vaud and is part of the Pays-d'Enhaut region. The charming village is characterised by its well-preserved chalet architecture, rich history and natural setting. Surrounded by rolling hills and striking peaks, Rougemont offers a wide range of leisure activities in every season. In summer, the surrounding area invites you to go hiking, mountain biking or paragliding. In winter, guests benefit from the proximity to the ski resorts of Gstaad and Château-d'Oex with perfectly groomed pistes, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails. Rougemont has a good tourist infrastructure, including restaurants and small shops. Despite its proximity to well-known destinations such as Gstaad, the village retains a quiet, family atmosphere - ideal for guests looking for relaxation and authentic Alpine flair. Unser erster Urlaub mit unserem Kind und wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und sauber. Auch die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Einzige, was wir etwas komisch fanden, dass die Rezeption nur an 3 Tagen besetzt war und es im Zimmer eigentlich keine Infos zum Aufenthalt gibt. Man findet es (per Zufall) über einen QR Code auf der Zimmerkarte. Warum man in der heutigen Zeit noch für Frotteewäsche bezahlen muss und es nicht einfach inkludiert, ist uns ein Rätsel. Aber das sind alles kleine Punkte, es hat uns sehr gefallen und wir haben schon wieder gebucht :)

Unserer Tochter hat der Garten mit den Sportmöglichkeiten sowie Tischfussball und Tischtennis im Spielraum sehr genossen. Auch das Ausleihen von Spielen an der Rezeption hat sehr gefallen. Auch wir Eltern haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist qualitativ hochwertig und die Region sehr schön. Einzig waren wir überrascht, dass zwar Bettwäsche, aber keine Hand- und Badetücher inbegriffen waren und gemietet werden mussten.

Your holiday accommodation in Rougemont
Rougemont is a beautiful village at the heart of the Vaudois alpine foothills, between Château-d’Oex and Gstaad. As the first French-speaking village in the valley of the young Saane river, it takes advantage of its proximity to Gstaad and offers a wide range of cultural and sports activities all year round. The village close to the Bernese Saanenland region is well known for its castle and traditional farmhouses.
In the summertime, the Gstaad, Rougemont and Saanenland region offers a multitude of activities. It is a walker’s paradise, and the attractive tourist area has three via ferrate. Whoever prefers to discover the region by bike will certainly get their money’s worth! Furthermore, young and older water-lovers can look forward to enjoying all sorts of activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddle or river rafting.
During the colder months, Rougemont earns points with the Videmanette ski area, linking it with Gstaad. In addition, there are also cross-country trails, winter walking paths, snow-shoe tracks and a toboggan run.
The panoramic Montreux-Bernese Oberland-Railway (MBO) leads you directly up to Rougemont. The spectacular stretch between Montreux and Zweisimmen is well known for the lakes, mountains, forests and typical villages you can admire en route.
Pure Switzerland! Out of the mist and up towards the sun. The triumvirate of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau makes for very impressive scenery. In the Bernese Oberland, your mountain holiday dream will come true.
Directions
Mit Bahn: Via Spiez-Zweisimmen-Gstaad-Rougemont oder über Montreux-Rougemont. 4 Min. vom Bahnhof entfernt. Vom Bahnhof aus links vorbei am Hotel Valrose, dann noch einmal links. Vor dem Bahnübergang rechts abbiegen über den Parkplatz von Silver Sport kommen Sie direkt auf unser Gelände.
Mit Auto: Über Autobahn N6 nach Spiez-Zweisimmen-Saanen-Rougemont. Nach dem
Kreisel, Richtung Bulle, nach ca. 100 m rechts einbiegen, Bahnunterführung, dann
erste kleine Strasse rechts einbiegen.
