The perfect holiday home with bikes

At the Reka Holiday Resort at Golfo del Sole in Follonica several restaurants take care of your every gastronomical wish from the breakfast buffet to ‘à-la-carte’ dining on the terrace overlooking the sea in the evening. You have exclusive access to the long, sandy beach. There’s a large freshwater pool and you choose from lots of sports activities or enjoy relaxing for hours with shows and entertainment. For every adventure, you can rent just the right, well-maintained Thömus bike by the day. Or you can book your bike tour with a guide - he knows the most beautiful corners of the region (the shop is closed from 25 June to 25 August 2023; no bike rentals or tour bookings).

What will it be? A base camp for discovering the region? Something a little more luxurious and private? Either way, our bike infrastructure will be open to welcome you.
Hotel room (also for single use)
The comfortable, modern hotel rooms all have a balcony or terrace, shower/WC, air conditioning, TV and a fridge.
Holiday flats
Our 1- and 2-storey terraced houses with flats in 3 price categories are located in an ancient pine forest. All are equipped with balconies, kitchens, gas or glass ceramic hobs, shower/WC, telephone, TV and safe, some with additional spin drier, Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
Bungalows by the sea
From the covered terrace of your bungalow, you can gaze out to sea over the kilometres of dunes, through the shade of the mighty pine trees. Modern kitchens with glass ceramic hobs and spin driers, shower/WC, air con, Wi-Fi and TV are standard throughout.

Simon Zmoos, a passionate biker, Tuscany connoisseur, trained bike guide and Swiss cycling expert, is in charge of Reka biking holidays on the spot. He knows the area like the back of his hand and guarantees with his team that your biking holiday runs smoothly in every respect. At the bike station, we repair and look after your own or your rented bike, offer replacements, replace worn parts if necessary and supply consumables.

Maremma: the biker’s paradise in a class of its own!

Meadows and woods stretching from the sea up to almost alpine heights of 2,000 m! The vastness of the Maremma region is the perfect natural adventure park for bike fans and racing bike freaks! Little streets with hardly any traffic, trails for every taste and every level of difficulty, nature paths all along the coast and technically demanding passages flow-wise. Cultural and historical highlights all along your route. On long tours, you can stop at quiet beaches off the beaten track that cannot be reached by car, and gaze right out to Elba Island from magnificent vantage points.
