In the holiday residence with a beautiful view over the lake, there are 8 comfortable holiday houses with 10 cosy holiday apartmens to choose from. An indoor children's play corner with table football and a small library are also available to our guests.

Weekly market in Luino
The city of Luino is located on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, where a state of emergency reigns once a week. Every Wednesday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., hundreds of bargain hunters gather on site to make many a deal and also to haggle from time to time. Public transport such as buses and trains run to the market, as do boats.
Rekalino-Trail
The Rekalino Trail is an interactive puzzle fun for young and old, which can be played in 13 Reka holiday resorts in Switzerland. The adventure takes participants into the story of "Rekalino & Rekalina", complete with tricky puzzles, games, challenges and experiments. The trail can be played in German and French.

Séjour à Brissago et sa région
Nous avons pu profiter d'un temps extraordinaire et du site magnifique. Belles promenades à Brissago et Locarno où nous avons visiter et profiter du magnifique spectacle de la Fauconnerie. Très bons restaurants avec bon accueil.

Sehr herzige Ferienwohnung mit bezauberndem Ambiente und Aussicht. Perfekt für einen Wanderurlaub und wenn man Ruhe sucht. Für den Preis pro Nacht, war mir die Ferienwohnung etwas zu kaputt. Grundsätzlich waren alle Mängel und Schäden handelbar und nicht weiter störend. Jedoch finde ich, darf man für den stattlichen Preis etwas mehr erwarten. Ausserdem wäre es hilfreich, wenn man als Gast im Voraus schon weiss, welche (Küchen-)Geräte und -Einrichtungen vorhanden sind, damit man nicht alles mitnimmt, was dann schon vorhanden ist. Aber insgesamt habe ich ein paar tolle Tage verbracht und mich rundum wohlgefühlt.

C’est un bel endroit qui ressource.
La maison est équipée avec ce qu’il faut pour passer une semaine avec des enfants. La literie et matelas sont incroyables, on y dort très bien. Le cadre de l’hôtel est superbe et on y est bien accueilli.

About the location
Your holiday accommodation in Brissago
Brissago is located between Locarno, the warmest city in Switzerland, and the frontier with Italy. The small Ticinese town is also the lowest point in Switzerland, at only 197 meters above sea-level.
Brissago’s reputation reaches far beyond the frontier for its marvellous view out over the Isole di Brissago. Mansions with fabulous gardens look out over the view of the two small Brissago islands, especially the botanical gardens created by the Russian Baroness Antoinette Saint-Léger as a paradise on earth between 1885 to 1928. The green island paradise is easily accessible by boat.
Brissago is also famous for its tobacco factory and its iconic cigars. The enchanting hamlet bewitches visitors with its picturesque lakeside village centre. With its narrow, winding alleys leading up to the wonderful Renaissance church of San Pietro e Paolo, the village is the perfect place for a stroll.

Favourite destinations in the Sopraceneri region are the southern foothills of the Alps, the medieval castles in Bellinzona, Locarno with the international film festival, the markets in neighbouring Italy and the romantic Maggia and Verzasca valleys. The Sottoceneri region around fashionable Lugano offers lakes and mountains, culture, first-class musical events, culinary highlights as well as great shopping opportunities. The southern part of the canton is particularly interesting for anyone looking for the perfect combination of urbanity and nature.
Ticino attracts visitors with its southern charm and sub-tropical vegetation unique to these parts. In Switzerland’s “sun lounge” you’ll enjoy the particularly mild climate from spring right through until late autumn.

Check-in for Reka vacation guests at the Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago
By train: via Gotthard-Bellinzona to Locarno. Take bus 316 from Locarno to the Brissago-Posta stop (journey time 25 min.). Then change to bus 308 (Brissago local bus) to check-in at the Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago. The transfer to the resort is on foot (approx. 20 minutes), by bus of line 308 or by taxi (Taxi Prato, +41 79 331 33 33 / by appointment / minimum 2 days before arrival or departure).
By car: leave the N2 freeway at Bellinzona Sud and drive towards Locarno-Brissago. In Brissago turn right at the post office into Via Costa di Mezzo, continue in Via Sacro Monte until you reach Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago.
Information: for guests of the Reka holiday residence Brissago, the boat transport (Brenscino boat) as well as the transport with the hotel shuttle is not available ( even for a fee).
