In 1976, the first families moved into the flats. Soon the Holiday Village was to become one of the most popular addresses in the Bernese Oberland. Alpine meadows in the summer, snowy magic in the winter, happy holidays for young and old – some 50 years later, lasting memories will continue to be made beneath the majestic Wildstrubel massif. We are planning the re-opening of the new Village in December 2027.
You can look forward to a top class, typically Reka facility that will meet the highest modern standards. After re-construction, all buildings will be Minergie-certified and will meet the strict energy efficiency and resources conservation regulations. Heat-pumps and photovoltaic facilities will provide climate-neutral electricity and heating. Natural meadows and dry-stone walls will promote all-round biodiversity. Wood is first choice as the renewable material and we buy regional. We are thus making sure our environmental footprint is as small as possible, so this applies to your holidays too! And we’re creating added value for everyone: we include people with disabilities in holiday life, and are removing any obstacles in order to build all new flats with the ‘barrier-free’ ranking.
