After a successful first winter season, the Reka Holiday Village Lugano-Albonago will again be opening its doors this coming winter season. From 26 December 2025 until 19 March 2026, guests can look forward to relaxing stays in the mild Ticino climate – far away from the chilly winter north of the Alps. 

A delightful start to the new year: delicious cuisine solutions delivered straight to the Holiday Village
The Holiday Village was already extremely popular during its first winter opening of 2024/2025. On New Year’s Eve all 51 holiday flats were fully booked. For the coming turn of the year, the Holiday Village will be offering special highlights. On pre-order, the famous Gabbani Delikatessen shop in Lugano will deliver cheese fondue, raclette or fondue chinoise directly to the Holiday Village – for enjoyable holidays without the hassle. The offer will be completed by a festive brunch and a hearty breakfast buffet over the New Year’s holidays. 

Variety for young and old
In the winter season too, the Holiday Village offers a versatile infrastructure: children’s playgrounds and playrooms, a well-stocked grocery store with regional products, fresh bread delivery service over the two pre- and post-New Year weeks as well as e-bike rental. Special wellness and spa offers ensure relaxation, including bookable massages at the spa. The restaurants, childcare and the panorama pool, however, remain closed during the winter months.  

Stay active during the winter: explore the natural surroundings and culture
The mild climate invites you to set out on hikes, bike tours and excursions on the Monte Brè. City trips to Milan, Como, Turin or Florence are also very convenient with the Ticino Ticket. The Holiday Village is perfectly suited for best agers, families, active and workation guests. 

Best to book early: reductions and flexible stays
You can book stays from two nights – ideal for short breaks and weekend stays. If you book by 31 August, you can enjoy attractive early booker discounts. There’s also the long-stay discount from 14 nights which makes longer stays even more attractive!
