The facility
The sun of Maremma - the name of this splendid residence sums up the vacation feeling. Quiet hours in the shade of tall pine trees and the near beach life by the sea, with a fresh breeze. In the heart of Maremma, 2 km away from the famous medieval town of Castiglione della Pescaia, enjoy unforgettable vacations in the middle of the 25 km2 park with its well-kept Mediterranean gardens. Or discover the splendid countryside all around with its rolling hills, ancient villages and unspoiled nature. And enjoy the intense cuisine and famous wines of the area. The Park Residence is the perfect starting point to discover the wonderful Tuscany - as a family as well as a couple.
The Residence is located in a 25 km² green and well-kept park and has 98 apartments, some of which are located in the main building on three floors or in the park in outbuildings, on the first floor or on the 1st floor. Reception, lounge, reading room, solarium, pool bar, restaurant, small mini-market, laundry (for a fee). Unattended parking (free of charge), free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Location: the historical center of Castiglione della Pescaia is 2 km away and Grosseto 25 km. 800 m from the sea.
Services: Restaurant/pizzeria, take-away possible.
Bathing: Swimming pool, children's paddling pool, umbrellas and sun loungers by the pool. 800 m to the public sandy beach with shallow slopes.
Family friendly: small playground, animation and mini club 4 to 12 years (14.06.-12.09.2025).
Leisure/sports: multipurpose sports court. For a fee: tennis court and bike rental. Numerous excursion and sports possibilities in the vicinity: mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling and boat trips.

Erholsame Ferien
Ruhige und erholsame Woche in der Toskana. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber die renovierten Appartements bieten einen guten Standard und Komfort. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Weg zum Meer und ins nahe gelegene Castiglione ist dank den Mietvelos kein Nachteil. Kleinigkeiten wie ein Abwaschmittel und eine anständige Kaffeemaschine würde die Ankunft und den Aufenthalt vereinfachten. Man darf zuerst diesen Kleinigkeiten nachrennen und sich einrichten, bevor der Urlaub los gehen kann.

Es war ein toller erholasmer Urlaub, die Anlage war sehr preiswert da nicht direkt am Meer.
Die Sauberkeit könnte etwas erhöht werden, wie auch das Angebot im Minimarkt war etwas dürftig (vielerorts spürt man dass die Hauptsaison vorbei ist).

Herrliche Familienferien
Schöne Anlage die aber bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Sie hat dadurch aber weder an Qualität noch ab Charme eingebüsst. Unser Apartment für eine 5-köpfige Familie, hatte 8 Betten. Also deutlich mehr Platz als benötigt, was sehr grosszügig war. Bei kleine Kindern enpfiehlt sich ein Bollerwagen ider ähnlich, da die 800 Meter zum Strand sonst zu weit sind. Unsere Kinder liebten die Pool und Gartenablage, welche sehr gepflegt war. In der Bar gibt es einen tolle Espresso. Und natürlich war die Animation bzw Unterhaltung für die Kinder top.

Die Reception mit den älteren Damen, sowie das Zimmer und den Zimmerservice waren top! Leider das Bett viel zu hart, gut gab es noch dass Ausziehsofa. Bratpfannen zu gross für den Herd, keine Kaffeelöffel vorhanden. Jetzt hat es zwei😀

Directions
By car
From Chiasso take the A9 and A1 freeways to Parma, then take the A15 towards Cisa Pass. Before reaching Spezia, take the A12 towards Livorno/Firenze and continue to the end of the freeway at Rosignano-M. Change to the Superstrada Aurelia. Exit at Follonica-Nord. Follow the national road until the 1st fork on the right towards the center of Follonica. Follow the signs Castiglione d. Pescaia S.S.322. In Castiglione d. Pescaia turn on Viale Piemonte, then at the 2nd junction on Viale Toscana.
