Odalys Résidence Prestige Riviera
The facility
Built in July 2024, Résidence Prestige Odalys Riviera is located on the Giens peninsula, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, south of Hyères and east of Toulon. The island is connected to the mainland by two strips of sand and offers a fantastic setting for a vacation with family or friends: long sandy beaches, rocky coves, dunes and forests. The peninsula is also a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers. The residence comprises 146 vacation apartments in various sizes and categories, all with a fully equipped kitchen and balcony or terrace. The residence has a reception and a communal room with breakfast and brunch (not daily). Free parking at the entrance and at the apartments. Laundry and Wi-Fi for a fee.
Location: 10 km from Hyères, 5 km from Port d'Hyères and 3 km from the harbor on the southern tip of the Giens peninsula. Restaurants and shops nearby, car recommended.
Swimming: Swimming pool (open mid-April to end of September) with sun loungers and parasols (for free), children's paddling pool (only during the summer season), a few meters to the public beach
Family-friendly: easy access to the beach
Leisure/sports: beach volleyball court. Pétanque court and playground planned. For a fee: various water sports and nautical equipment rental on the beach (windsurfing, catamaran, jet ski, kayak, wing foil, SUP and more). In the surrounding area for a fee: bike rental, diving, snorkeling, boat trips (e.g. to the island of Porquerolles). Hikes, bird watching.
Services: beds made on arrival (for a fee), breakfast and bread service available (not daily, bookable and payable on site).

Car-free and ideal for exploring by bike, it offers beautiful beaches, a fortress from the Napoleon III era, a 19th century church and a charming main town with bars, restaurants and stores.

Discover the charming town of Hyères! Stroll through the medieval old town, where narrow alleyways lead to lively squares with restaurants and stores selling local arts and crafts. The colorful facades and stone arcades reveal the town's medieval history. By the way - Marseille, Nice, Cannes and Saint-Tropez are also just a few hours' drive away.

This place is a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers thanks to the ideal wind conditions. Experience the unique feeling of gliding over the water and being carried by the wind on Almanarre beach.

Es gibt Klippen mit Buchten zum Schwimmen, wilde Strände mit Wind, flaches Gebiet mit Flamingos für Fahrradfahren, tolle Restaurants und wunderschöne Sonnenauf- und Untergänge. Die Halbinsel ust sehr belebt und Verkehrsreich, es gibt viele schweizer und deutsche Touristen. Die Anlage ist solide. Es fehlt eindeutig eine Duschmöglichkeit nach dem Strandbesuch. Somit wird der ganze Schmutz und Sand von aussen nach innen getragen. Die Wohnungen sind nicht zufriedenstellend ausgestattet und gewartet. Für den Preis in der Zwischensaison sehr gut.

Uns hat alles gefallen. Gut wäre, wenn man nach dem Strand die Füsse und Strandschuhe bei einem Wasserhahn abspülen könnte. So wäre auch auf der Treppe und im Gang weniger Sand. Die Kaution von 500 Euro ist immer noch als reserviert auf der Kreditkarte, obwohl wir schon vor einer Woche abgereist sind!

The peninsula is connected to the mainland at Hyères and the long sandy beaches by two narrow headlands. The 6 km long beach of Almanarre offers ideal conditions for sailors and surfers. Hyères, located on the westernmost part of the Côte d'Azur, is a picturesque town with all kinds of shops, avenues, pedestrian zones and beautiful squares.
Directions
From Geneva via highway 41 in the direction of Chambéry/Annecy. Follow the A41 and take the A43 towards Lyon/Chambéry. Continue on the A43 and change to the A48 southbound. Take the A49 to Valence. There, change to the A7 and follow this or the A8 towards Aix-en-Provence. After Aix-en-Provence, change to the A52 or A50 and follow this to Toulon. The A570 will then take you to Hyères. After Hyères, follow the Route de Giens/D197 in the direction of the Giens peninsula. The Résidence Prestige Odalys Riviera is located on the peninsula de Giens, on the left-hand side of the main road.
