Weekly market in Luino

Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind (1.5 Jahre) im Rekadorf. Unsere Wohnung war zu unterst am Anhang, das Auto wird ganz oben parkiert. Uns war es nicht klar, wie viele Treppen zu gehen sind mit viel Gepäck mit Kleinkind, dass man nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen kann. Es fehlt ein Lageplan, der die Topografie richtig abbildet. Wohnung selber hat alles was man braucht, ausser bei den Küchenmessern könnten die alten ersetzt werden.

Folgende Hinweise: Der neue Pool war im Herbst schon sehr kalt und sollte unbedingt anders und sicherer gestaltet werden: Kleinkinder ohne Schwimmhilfen gelangen vom Spielplatz tagsüber zum Pool und würden aufgrund der rutschigen Einbuchtung ohne jede Treppe oder Stange ertrinken - während es zum Schwimmen für Erwachsene auch nicht reicht. Besser eine Nasszone zum Spielen, als ein gefährliches Zwischending, das nur ganz kurze Zeit jährlich Badetemperatur hat. Dies würde uns Eltern ermöglichen, nicht die ganze Zeit volle Beaufsichtigung zu leisten. Die Spielangebote sind sonst sehr gut. Das Spielzimmer war auch dieses Mal ein Hit, dürfte von der lauten-halligen Akkustik her auch etwas umgestaltet werden.

Your holiday accommodation in Magadino
Magadino is located near the well-known town of Locarno, in the canton of Ticino. Magadino and the other villages along the left bank of the lake, in the Gambarogno, have largely preserved their Ticinese identity. To the south, the terrain climbs steeply towards the Monte Tamaro range and offers a beautiful view out across the whole Locarnese area.
Between the estuary of the Verzasca river and Magadino, the Bolle di Magadino is a landscape of recognized natural value. From the Gambarogno shore villages, scheduled boats run to Locarno, Ascona, the famous Brissago islands and more excursion destinations on the Lago Maggiore. The triumvirate of Ticinese towns Lugano, Locarno and Bellinzona is as easily and quickly accessible from Gambarogno as the nearby Italian market town of Luino.

By car: Via Bellinzona south direction Luino to Magadino. Turn left in the village, in front of the post office/police station, towards Orgnana. Narrow, winding road, about 2 km. The vacation village is on the left, about 400 m before Orgnana.
