The facility
The Zel Costa Brava Resort is situated on a hillside, amidst rolling countryside, right on Giverola Bay, on the most beautiful stretch of the Costa Brava. The resort was renovated in 2024, and its 214 Mediterranean-style studios and apartments are located in two-storey residential blocks on a quiet hillside. The accommodation is accessible via several flights of stairs, situated between 3 and 10 minutes’ walk from the main building depending on location, and is located outside the sports and leisure area. The Zel Costa Brava offers free Wi-Fi and parking (subject to a charge, subject to availability). The main building, situated on the hill, houses the buffet restaurant, reception, luggage storage, wellness area with indoor pool and sauna, fitness centre, 24-hour laundry service (for a fee), a small shop with snacks, a coffee bar, a bar, evening entertainment (during high season), a cash machine and seminar rooms.
From the elevated main building, you can reach the sports and leisure area and the beach via several flights of stairs or by shuttle bus. Here you will find a large swimming pool and children’s paddling pool with sun loungers and parasols, an à la carte restaurant on the beach, tennis courts, mini-golf and a children’s play area.
The nearest supermarket, as well as various restaurants and cafés, can be found in Tossa de Mar, 4 km away.
Location: Directly on Giverola Bay, 4 km north of Tossa de Mar and 90 km from Barcelona.
Swimming: Swimming pool (25 m2) and children's paddling pool with sun terrace; use of sun loungers and parasols by the pool is free of charge, but there is a charge for use on the beach. Bali beds by the pool are available for a fee. Indoor pool (for a fee). Direct access to the light sandy beach.
Family-friendly: Spacious, car-free holiday resort right by the sea, with sports and entertainment facilities. During the high season: kids’ clubs (ages 5–11.99) and a teens’ club (ages 11.99–17.99), a children’s playground and a children’s playroom.
Services: Accommodation including breakfast (extensive buffet). Half-board available (buffet restaurant). Regular bus shuttle service to Tossa de Mar (for a fee) and regular shuttle service by glass-bottom boat from the beach to Tossa de Mar (for a fee).
