The facility
The Zel Costa Brava Resort is located on a hillside, surrounded by rolling countryside, directly on Giverola Bay, the most beautiful stretch of coastline on the Costa Brava. The resort was renovated in 2024 and the 214 Mediterranean-style apartments are located in two-storey residential units on a quiet hillside outside the sports and leisure area, a 3 to 10-minute walk from the main building. The Zel Costa Brava also has a large swimming pool with a children's paddling pool, a wellness area with an indoor pool and sauna, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a bar, a beach bar and evening entertainment (during high season), 24-hour reception, luggage storage service, seminar rooms, cash machine, free parking (subject to availability), laundry service (for a fee) and free Wi-Fi. Stairs lead from the elevated main building to the sports and beach area. The nearest supermarket and various restaurants and cafés are located in Tossa de Mar, 4 km away.
Location: Directly on Giverola Bay, 4 km north of Tossa de Mar and 90 km from Barcelona.
Swimming: Swimming pool (25 m) and children's paddling pool with sun terrace; use of sun loungers and parasols by the pool is free of charge, but there is a charge for use on the beach. Bali beds by the pool are available for a fee. Indoor pool (for a fee). Direct access to the light sandy beach. Approx. 900 m to the sandy beach of Cala Pola.
Family-friendly: Spacious, car-free holiday resort directly by the sea, with sports and entertainment facilities, kids' clubs (from 5 years old, during high season), children's playground, children's playroom.
Leisure/sports: Free of charge: fitness room, Pilates classes, yoga, beach volleyball, table tennis. For a fee: 9 tennis courts, tennis lessons, mini golf, wellness area with indoor pool and sauna. Through external providers in the area for a fee: bike rental, pedal boats, kayaks, paddle surfboards, boat trips.
Services: Accommodation including breakfast. Half board available (buffet restaurant). Regular shuttle service to Tossa de Mar (for a fee).
