The facility
La Tzoumaz, the gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area, is a family-friendly resort where you will have a great and varied holiday! The modern and comfortable residence "T-Resort", in the centre of La Tzoumaz in an excellent location, offers 85 flats on 4 floors with all modern comforts in a cosy atmosphere. You can choose between the categories Standard (mountain/slopes and surrounding area view) or Superior (view of the Rhône valley)..
The residence «T-Resort» is located next to the cable car (connection to the ski area of Verbier), the children's playground (depending on weather) and babysitting on request, other restaurants, ski school Tzoum'Evasion and sports store T-Shop with rental of skis, snowboards, sleds, bicycles and winter and summer sports equipment.
In the complex: elevator, reception, laundry room and clothes dryer (for a fee), each apartment of the T-Resort has its own ski locker with boot dryer., wine/and beer bar, supermarket and car parking (for a fee).
When staying at the T-Resort during the summer season from June 1 to October 31, you will receive the Verbier Infinite Playground Pass (VIP Pass), which gives you free access, various benefits and preferential rates for more than 100 activities in Val de Bagnes or La Tzoumaz.

le logement était très bien équipé et le parking rend l'accès à la résidence très facile mais c'est dommage que la résidence ne dispose pas d'une salle commune avec des jeux où les jeunes et les familles pourraient se retrouver. La résidence est située en face des remontées mécaniques ce qui est très pratiques mais du coup la vue de l'appartement n'est pas jolie.

L'appartement était très bien, il faudrait cependant revoir le confort des lits. Endroit très pratique où tout est à proximité. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Très bon accueil comme d'habitude, chambre propre et sanitaires en ordre. Espace suffisant ainsi que le nombre de rangement. première expérience en logement avec une chambre pour 4 personnes maximum. Le nombre de couvert est clairement insuffisant et si la présence du lave vaisselle est appréciable, il est difficile de le remplir avant de se trouver en défaut de vaisselle. Tout le reste est en ordre. Les nuisances sonores des touristes étrangers, sont du domaine du savoir vivre et non de la qualité de la prestation

Schade, dass man für das Ausleihen des Raclett-Geräts für einen Abend Fr. 10.-- bezahlen muss (sonst ist das ja bei Reka kostenlos). Pfannendeckeln haben gefehlt. Das hat uns aus ökologischen Gründen gestört. Sonst haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt :-))

The resort lies between Martigny and Sion high above the left bank of the Rhone at an altitude of about 1,500 m above sea level. M. The former name Mayens-de-Riddes, Mayensäss of Riddes, refers to the original use of the Alpine settlement, namely the summering of cattle. Even today, herds of the Eringer, the typical Valais fighting cow breed, can be seen. Today La Tzoumaz is connected to the 4 Vallées ski area (4 valleys) with the ski resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Thyon and Veysonnaz. The 8-person cable car, which opened in 2008, takes 7 minutes to reach the Savoleyres ridge (2,354 m above sea level), which is the gateway to Verbier. The advantage of La Tzoumaz as a ski resort is the comparatively good snow conditions thanks to its north orientation and the wide view over the Rhone Valley to the Bernese Alps. Thanks to the terraced hillside location, most units have unobstructed views. An attraction for families is the 10 km long toboggan run, one of the longest in Switzerland, which can be reached by cable car. In summer, there are many hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as the 'Path of the Senses' (Sentier des Sens). In the village there is a public indoor pool with sauna and an outdoor natural ice rink.
The Valais Alps are home to the highest mountains in Switzerland. The world-famous Matterhorn is just one of them. You can ski in Zermatt 365 days of the year, and in many places children can use the slopes for free. The wild and romantic Goms is a paradise for hikers, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Highlights include the three largest glaciers in Switzerland: the Aletsch, Gorner and Fiescher glaciers. Families are always welcome in hospitable Valais.
Directions
By car: Motorway A9/ E62 to Riddes (exit 24) After the exit you will see the sign for La Tzoumaz.
By train: line Simplon to Martigny, then take the regional train to Riddes, or the line via Lötschberg to Brig, change in Visp to the regional train to Riddes. From Riddes station you can take the cable car to Iserables. From Iserables a post bus will take you to La Tzoumaz.
Car is recommended.
