The facility
Built in 2017, SWISSPEAK Resorts Vercorin enjoys an excellent location in the small mountain village of Vercorin, right next to the gondola lift. The large, five-storey building with elevator houses 89 cosy and modern apartments with space for 2 to 8 people. The resort also offers a restaurant with wine bar, a wellness area with sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi (free access from 16 years), a fitness room, a kids' room (for children from 3 to 10 years, no supervision) and a gaming room. Ski room, laundry room, outdoor parking lot and underground garage (for a fee) complete the infrastructure. Pets allowed (for a fee).
Location: Situated at 1,330 meters, right next to the valley station of the cable car to Crêt du Midi and just a few minutes' walk from the village center. Vercorin is around 20 minutes' drive from Sierre and can also be reached by the small cable car from Chalais.
Family-friendly: playgrounds, mini-golf, adventure forest at the Sigeroulaz middle station with suspension bridges, lianas and zip lines, scooter runs, Espace du Lavioz outdoor leisure center with playground, pump track, tennis court, green areas and buvette, bowling alleys, treasure hunt with the mascot Chamy, three-suon tour, paragliding.
Leisure/sport: 250 km of hiking trails and 170 km of bike trails, trail running, exploring the Val d'Anniviers and visiting traditional villages, cable car excursion to the Crêt du Midi mountain restaurant, excursions to the Vallon de Réchy nature reserve, nature watching, hikes along the bisses, visits to an Alpine cheese dairy and the Arche des Crétillons agritourism farm in Chalais. Winter sports activities in the family ski area of Vercorin with 35 kilometers of slopes. Skiing, cross-country skiing, sledging, snowshoe and winter hikes, ice skating, tobogganing.

Vercorin #1: Adventure forest
The adventure forest at the Sigeroulaz middle station at 1863 m promises excitement and spectacular views of Vercorin. Wobbly bridges, floor-length vines and five courses of varying difficulty await you. Seven tyrolienne courses offer pure thrills - the perfect destination for adventure seekers! Open from July to October.
Vercorin #2: Treasure Hunt
The mascot Chamy awaits his guests for an exciting treasure hunt in Vercorin. Clues and riddles are hidden in various parts of the village, which have to be deciphered with brains and teamwork. Those who successfully solve the riddles will find a small surprise in the last chest at the end of the search.
Vercorin #3: Vercorin Major Park
The freestyle area between the Chardons and Mont-Major ski lifts offers plenty of fun for beginners and experienced freestylers alike. There is a lot of variety in the snow park and on the fun slope. New in 2024: a permanent slalom at the edge of the fun slope. Drinks and snacks are available in the Box Bar (not daily).

About the location
Vercorin impresses with its charming location on a sunny terrace above the Rhone Valley, at the entrance to the Val d'Anniviers. The picturesque Valais mountain village has retained its traditional charm, particularly thanks to the many historic chalets and the original village structure. Surrounded by imposing peaks and lush meadows, the area around Vercorin offers a variety of hiking trails and mountain bike trails for all levels and is a paradise for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. A popular excursion leads to the Vallon de Réchy nature reserve, an unspoiled valley that delights with its wild flora and fauna. Paragliding is a popular summer activity in Vercorin - soaring high above the village, you can experience the region from a completely different perspective. In winter, Vercorin is transformed into a family-friendly ski resort with 35 km of fun slopes, 5 ski lifts, a chairlift and a snow park with a half-pipe. Ski tours, snowshoe and winter hikes, cross-country skiing, tobogganing and ice skating round off the varied winter offer.
About the region
The Valais Alps are home to the highest mountains in Switzerland. The world-famous Matterhorn is just one of them. You can ski in Zermatt 365 days of the year, and in many places children can use the slopes for free. The wild and romantic Goms is a paradise for hikers, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Highlights include the three largest glaciers in Switzerland: the Aletsch, Gorner and Fiescher glaciers. Families are always welcome in hospitable Valais.
Directions
By public transportation: Travel by train to Sierre. From Sierre, take the bus to the “Vercorin, poste” stop (approx. 44 minutes). Or take the bus to the “Chalais, téléphérique” stop and take the cable car to Vercorin (approx. 50 minutes).
By car: Travel to Sierre. Then via Chalais to Vercorin. The resort is located right next to the valley station of the gondola lift to Crêt du Midi. Approx. 25 minutes from Sierre.
