Meiringen-Hasliberg is a popular holiday destination in the Bernese Oberland. The Haslital valley lies between the Brünig, Grosse Scheidegg, Susten and Grimsel Alpine passes. In the winter, Meiringen-Hasliberg is a favourite winter sports area. 15 ski installations transport winter sports enthusiast up to an altitude of 2245 meters. Several cross-country trails, snow-shoe tracks, toboggan runs as well as an extensive network of winter hiking paths complete the range of winter offers. In the summer, holiday guests can enjoy over 300 km of signposted hiking trails and as many biking routes. The «Muggestutz» adventure trail in nearby Hasliberg whisks young and old away into the mystical world of the Hasli dwarves.
