Gemütliche Ferienwohnung
Sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung auch passend für Familien mit drei Kindern. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage in der Nähe des Sessellifts, somit lassen wir Skiausrüstung dort und müssen sie nicht so weit tragen. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Das Chalet steht in einem Gebiet ohne Strasse. D.h. man muss Koffer etc., vom Parkplatz zur Wohnung ca. 100-200m tragen. Aber eben nur zwei mal in den Ferien. Und die Skiausrüstung kann man eben in der Tiefgarage lassen. Wir gehen wieder hin.

The Valais mountain village of Bürchen is situated on a terrace above the Rhone valley. The village can be reached in a 15-minute drive from Visp. Due to its central location in the Upper Valais, Bürchen is an ideal starting point for excursions throughout the canton.
The holiday resort is a real hiker's paradise in the warmer months. With its unspoilt nature and vast forests, Bürchen is the ideal place to enjoy. The birch nature trail tells you everything you need to know about the local tree. Various cycle routes also lead through Bürchen.
In winter, the holiday destination offers a family-friendly winter sports area. The village is directly connected to the ski area of the Moosalpregion. The ski area with its 25 kilometres of slopes caters to all needs.
About the region
The Valais Alps are home to the highest mountains in Switzerland. The world-famous Matterhorn is just one of them. You can ski in Zermatt 365 days of the year, and in many places children can use the slopes for free. The wild and romantic Goms is a paradise for hikers, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Highlights include the three largest glaciers in Switzerland: the Aletsch, Gorner and Fiescher glaciers. Families are always welcome in hospitable Valais.

By car: via Visp to Bürchen (Zenhäusern). Chalet Aaron is located in the holiday apartment zone of Bürchen, turn left at the end of the bus stop and the Bärghüsli restaurant. Car recommended.
