The facility
The 4 spacious holiday flats in the Rothorn holiday house are centrally located in Sörenberg, approx. 5 min. walk to the mountain railway.
There is a ski and bike room in the house. You also have access to the garden with lawn and a small playground as well as to the communal barbecue area.
You can use the infrastructure of the Reka holiday village Sörenberg free of charge (approx. 15 min. walk).
Services: Rental service for baby items (free of charge). You have the option of ordering attractive additional services (e.g. bed linen, towelling set) in advance.
Family-friendly: The Rekalino animation programme of the Reka holiday village can also be used.

Wir waren in einer Reka-Wohnung im Hagleren und durften die Infrastruktur des Reka-Zenters nutzen. Das war für uns ideal. Unsere Wohnung war hell und schön und zentral gelegen. Das Zenter wie immer wunderbar. Vor allem abends ist das Hallenbad auch für Erwachsene ein Erlebnis. Herr und Frau Christener erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch.Sie prägen das Zenter mit ihrem Team aufs Herzlichste. Danke vielmals - wir erholten uns ausgezeichnet!

Wenn Sie diese 3 Punkte unter Anlage und Unterkunft verbesseren würden, wäre es top! Der Assenparkplatz ist leider hinter statt vor dem Haus. Der Service und die Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei.

About the location
Your holiday accommodation in Sörenberg
At the heart of Switzerland lies the holiday village of Sörenberg. The Lucerne village is in the middle of the Entlebuch UNESCO Biosphere. Holidays here, at an altitude of 1,165 meters, are synonymous with immersion in pure natural surroundings. Sörenberg offers a diverse animal and plant world and, on top of this, there is nowhere else in Switzerland which offers such a wide variety of protected moors and marshes in such a small area as here. The family-friendly holiday area offers, relaxation, variety, and a range of attractive leisure opportunities.
In summer, the Brienz Rothorn mountain area is a fabulous, ‘off the beaten track’ walkers’ paradise! The highest mountain in the canton of Lucerne offers breath-taking views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. The marsh water park “Mooraculum” is full of surprises to discover around the Moors theme. Whether you are watching, smelling, feeling or tasting – you are guaranteed to use all your senses. Adventure is pre-programmed with the archery course, tobogganing or mini golf.
In the colder months, the snow-sure winter wonderland offers winter sports of all kinds. Sörenberg is the largest winter sports area in the canton of Lucerne with its 53 km of ski-runs. From skiing to freeride and cross-country and snow-shoe hiking or skating on the natural ice rink – everything is there!
About the region
The mountain is calling! The main attractions are the Titlis with the highest glacier, the Rigi as queen of the mountains and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at Entlebuch with its pre-alpine moorland and karst landscape.

Check-in and check-out take place in the Reka holiday village Sörenberg!
By car: From Lucerne-Wolhusen-Schüpfheim or from Bern-Langnau-Schüpfheim, then towards Sörenberg. The panorama road (from the Brünig side) from Giswil to Sörenberg is only open in summer. The Reka holiday village is directly opposite the Sörenberg Platz chairlift.
By train: SBB to Schüpfheim. Continue by post bus Klusstalden-Flüehli- Sörenberg. The bus stop is right next to the Reka holiday village. Vis à vis car park and chairlift Sörenberg Platz.
