Lake Thun
The deep blue Lake Thun is the largest lake in the Bernese Oberland. It opens up views of meadows, forests, the Alps and mountains. Niederhorn
The Niederhorn is Beatenberg's local mountain. With the Beatenberg-Niederhorn group cable car you can reach the summit at almost 2,000 metres above sea level without getting out of breath. And already you are facing the imposing Bernese Alps and enjoying a wonderful view of the lake world of the Bernese Oberland. But the Niederhorn has more to offer than just a fantastic view. Numerous hikes, wildlife watching, alpine cross-country skiing, a ridge trail or a speedy downhill ride on a scooter-bike are on offer.

Perfekte Ferien.
Top, hat alles gepasst, sogar Parkplatz im Schatten. Tolle Aussicht auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Sehr gute Bäckerei gleich ums Eck. Ferienwohnung sehr gut ausgestattet, alles vorhanden, sehr aufmerksame Betreuerin.
Top, hat alles gepasst, sogar Parkplatz im Schatten. Tolle Aussicht auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau. Sehr gute Bäckerei gleich ums Eck. Ferienwohnung sehr gut ausgestattet, alles vorhanden, sehr aufmerksame Betreuerin.

Es war eine wunderschöne Familienwoche, in einer traumhaften Umgebung in einer perfekt eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bel endroit pour de magnifiques randonnées
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Nous avons été très bien reçus par la propriétaire de l'appartement, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et très serviable. L'appartement rien à redire sur la propreté, tout était impeccable, très agréable, et fonctionnel, , avec une vue magnifique sur l'Eiger, le Mönch et la Jungfrau. Merci encore pour cette magnifique semaine.

Die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet, es ist alles da, sogar Schuhlöffel. Aussicht vom Sitzplatz auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau, traumhaft. Vorsicht, wer nicht neben dem Splrtplatz der Schule wohnen möchte, das könnte stören. Uns hats nicht gestört, wenn Ball gespielt wurde. Bäckerei/Tea Room in die eine Richtung und kleiner Laden in die andere Richtung, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir kommen wieder

Interlaken can be reached in just 10 kilometres.
During the summer months, the region invites you to go hiking. Beatenberg's local mountain is the Niederhorn. There are several hiking, orienteering and scooter-bike routes. The Beatusweg is a play and adventure trail of about 4 kilometres. It is about the legend of Saint Beatus, patron saint of Beatenberg.
In winter, Beatenberg scores with the family ski areas Niederhorn and Hohwald. For all winter lovers, there is a toboggan run, a cross-country ski trail or an extensive network of winter hiking trails to explore.
