Lake Thun
The deep blue Lake Thun is the largest lake in the Bernese Oberland. It opens up views of meadows, forests, the Alps and mountains. A special highlight is the view of the mountain peaks - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Another attraction on Lake Thun is the nostalgic steamboat "Blümlisalp". The surrounding mountains with the Niesen, Stockhorn and Niederhorn as well as the castles on the shore are guaranteed to delight you.

Niederhorn
The Niederhorn is Beatenberg's local mountain. With the Beatenberg-Niederhorn group cable car you can reach the summit at almost 2,000 metres above sea level without getting out of breath. And already you are facing the imposing Bernese Alps and enjoying a wonderful view of the lake world of the Bernese Oberland. But the Niederhorn has more to offer than just a fantastic view. In winter, Beatenberg scores with the family ski areas Niederhorn and Hohwald. For all winter lovers, there is a toboggan run, a cross-country ski trail or an extensive network of winter hiking trails to explore.
