Go on a day trip to Porquerolles, an idyllic Mediterranean island off Toulon, easily accessible by ferry from the Giens peninsula. Car-free and ideal for exploring by bike, it offers beautiful beaches, a fortress from the Napoleon III era, a 19th century church and a charming main town with bars, restaurants and stores.

Tip #2: Medieval charm in Hyères
Discover the charming town of Hyères! Stroll through the medieval old town, where narrow alleyways lead to lively squares with restaurants and stores selling local arts and crafts. The colorful facades and stone arcades reveal the town's medieval history. By the way - Marseille, Nice, Cannes and Saint-Tropez are also just a few hours' drive away.

Tip #3: Windsurfing and kitesurfing
This place is a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers thanks to the ideal wind conditions. Experience the unique feeling of gliding over the water and being carried by the wind on Almanarre beach.
