The facility
Comfortable holiday appartments with beautiful views of the spectacular mountain scenery. Our holiday home is located between Dorfstrasse and Terrassenweg, directly above the Hotel Kirchbühl. It can be reached on foot from the railway station in approx. 20 minutes, and you can drive directly to the house by car. In winter, the ski bus stops below the hotel. It connects the ski area of the First with that of the Kleine Scheidegg. The valley run of the First area leads past the house to the valley station.
Common room with fireplace, small playground, barbecue area, washing machine, each flat with Nespresso coffee machine. You can access the internet via the WLAN connection. Parking spaces (inside and outside) are available at the house.

Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe
Jungfraujoch lies in the heart of the Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn UNESCO World Heritage Site. Snow and ice 100% guaranteed. The Sphinx viewing building, the Ice Palace, the plateau for walks in eternal snow - these are the year-round attractions on the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. Furthermore, in summer there are numerous possibilities for adventure on offer.
First Glider
Flying with a bird of prey can be exhilarating. Especially when an eagle called First Glider takes flight. His four "passengers" float through the mountain landscape and enjoy a panoramic view at high speeds: To begin with, the First Glider is pulled backwards from Schreckfeld towards First at 72 km/h. It is on the way back that the eagle really takes off. He and his passengers glide the 800-metre-long flight route at up to 83 km/h.
Glacier Canyon
The glacier gorge is divided into various themes such as geology, glaciers, water, myths - an exciting experience for all ages, easily accessible in all weathers! One of the highlights is the 170m2 SPIDERWEB. The walkable net stretched over the gorge offers a unique view and thrills at the same time!
Eiger Express
The new Eiger Express tricable car will take you from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. With a direct transfer option, you will be on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe and on the slopes 47 minutes faster than before.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sowohl im Reka-Ferienhaus als auch auf der Piste. Der Traum! Wir wollen so bald wie möglich wiederkommen! Wir hatten ein persönliches Problem und Herr DosSantos hat alles gegeben und uns spontan unterstützt, damit es uns unter diesen Umständen so gut wie möglich geht. Er ist sehr gut erreichbar, er und seine mitwirkende Familie ist sehr flexibel, unterstützend und gut organisiert. Da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Seine menschliche und zuvorkommende Art waren traumhaft in unserer relativ schwierigen Situation. Ich wünschte mir mehr so empathische Reka-Angestellte. Echt herzerwärmend und top!

Location bien située à l'extérieur de la ville, avec très belle vue et au calme. Facile d'accès en voiture. L'ensemble est très bien entretenu et propre. Le studio est assez fonctionnel mais de standing modeste voire un peu daté. Il est bien préparé, avec un cadeau de bienvenue. L'équipement ménager est limité (pas de micro-onde ou lave vaisselle ; il manque des ustensiles de cuisine). Torchons et serviettes fournis et lits faits à l'arrivée. Il faut compter en supplément non précisé au contrat les frais de parking à 20 francs la semaine à l'extérieur, ainsi que la taxe de séjour à 5 francs / jour /personne. La fonction réception est limitée au minimum (pas de présence permanente) mais très courtoise. On regrettera aussi que les balcons laissent passer les débris au sol sur les niveaux inférieurs. Your holiday accommodation in Grindelwald
Grindelwald is one of the most popular holiday regions in Switzerland. The village in the Bernese Oberland has a fantastic view of an impressive mountain world with the Eiger North Face and Wetterhorn. The holiday region also has the largest ski area in the Jungfrau Region. Popular excursion destinations are the Kleine Scheidegg and the Jungfraujoch.
In the summertime, there are a number of interesting hikes to discover in Grindelwald. The view of the triple rock Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, a visit to the Bachalpsee, a hike to the Faulhorn or Schynigenplatte are among the highlights of the village.
Skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking, sledging and many more activities are available to visitors to Grindelwald during the winter months. The charming village has two ski areas, which together offer over 160 kilometres of pistes. The legendary Lauberhorn downhill run near Wengen is also located in one of the two areas.
