The facility
This welcoming and charming park residence is set in 60 km² of parkland and has 52 accommodations, in various country houses, vacation homes (villettes) and apartments. Reception, bar/restaurant, laundry, public barbecue area. Parking in the complex. Free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and at the reception.
Location: in the heart of Valtenesi, 1,5 km from Lake Garda, 1 km from the historical center of Moniga del Garda, 9 km from Desenzano train station.
Services: Bread roll service. Possibility for breakfast (bookable and payable on site: adults EUR 15.00/day, children 5-10 years old EUR 7.50/day, children under 5 years free of charge) or half board (bookable and payable on site: adults EUR 37.50/day, children 5-10 years old EUR 18.00/day, children under 5 years free of charge).
Swimming: On the shallow-sloping beach, 1.5 km away. 2 swimming pools (not heated) with a children's paddling pool (open late May to mid-September). Indoor pool with jet stream (open April to May / mid-September to November), whirlpool. For a fee: sauna, massages, and solariums.
Family-friendly: free children's entertainment, playground, small farm with pony rides, etc.
Leisure/sports: tennis court (for a fee), table tennis, outdoor fitness, volleyball, soccer. Numerous sports opportunities in the vicinity such as golf, sailing, windsurfing, mountain biking and hiking.

Verona, the stage for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, is pure romance. There are many famous attractions in the town from various historical periods, such as the Verona arena dating back to the 1st century AD, the medieval fortress Castelvecchio or even the Casa Giulietta, where you can touch the statue of Juliette to bring you luck.

unser Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen. Der Buchungsprozess ist jedoch mangelhaft und brauchte unzählige mails. Zudem wurden falsche Informationen weitergeleitet, die zu Mehrkosten führten. Da man diese Unterkunft auch direkt buchen kann, würde ich in einem nächsten Fall daher direkt buchen...

Agréables vacances en famille
Nous avons passé 1 semaine en famille là-bas et c’était très agréable. Le personnel et aimable et accueillant et nos enfants ont apprécié les activités proposées. Nous avons également très bien mangé au restaurant. Le seul bémol était que l’appartement était vieillot. Il y avait toutes les commodités mais on avait des courants d’air, ce qui n’était pas très agréable et on a eu froid. On y était que pour dormir donc on a chauffé l’appartement avec le chauffage en plus des radiateurs et ça allait. Dans l’ensemble nous sommes contents de notre séjour et nos enfants aussi ! Merci au personnel pour leur gentillesse !

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gelegen und recht grosszügig angelegt. Sehr gut geeignet für ruhige und entspannte Ferien. Für Kinder bis ca. 8 Jahre ist die Anlage/Angebot sehr gut geeignet. Was ein bisschen fehlt ist ein Angebot für Jugendliche. (von 8-15 Jahren)

About the location
Moniga del Garda is located on the western shore of Lake Garda between Desenzano and Salò and is an ideal starting point for excursions to the numerous amusement parks or cultural sights. The village nestles on a hill and extends down to the lake. A picturesque harbour awaits you there. In the immediate vicinity you will find beautiful hiking and cycling opportunities, past vineyards, olive groves and fields.

Directions
From the Swiss border Chiasso take the A9 freeway to Milano. There change to A4/E13 to Brescia/Verona/Venice. Freeway exit Desenzano del Garda. After the exit continue on the provincial road towards Pendeghe/Salò. You pass by Pendeghe and the next village is Moniga del Garda. There follow the signs for the Park Residence Il Gabbiano.
