The former imperial capital of Leutkirch is located in the Allgäu region in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The town is known for its historic old town with pretty, well-maintained half-timbered houses. Sights and attractions include Leutkirch Castle on a hill with a great panoramic view over the town, the interesting local history museum or the town church of St. Martin from the 15th century.
