Safe and sound holidays

The situation has improved in Switzerland over the past weeks and months and most European frontiers are open.

Reka continues to follow the recommendations of the authorities with great care and appropriate protection concepts continue to be implemented in all our facilities. Individual arrival, your own holiday home, personal care, controlled access to the indoor swimming pool, the clear protection concept in childcare as well as the increase in cleaning intensity are important features that speak for an optimal solution and safe holidays with Reka – still now.

For holidays abroad, the conditions and requirements of national and international authorities must be met. Please find out about these in the European Union’s pages on the subject, under entry requirements. All our partners follow a protection concept.

Certificate requirement in compliance with the Federal Council decision of 08.09.2021

Overnight stays in all our Reka facilities are still possible without a certificate. However, exclusively those guests who show a certificate (i.e., recovered, vaccinated or tested) may take part in a gastronomical evening. Likewise, this applies to use of indoor pools, wellness and fitness areas. In the other public areas where there is no certificate requirement, such as the reception, play rooms or Rekalino childcare centres, the mask requirement applies to everyone.

Up until October 1, 2021, the cost of a rapid antigen detection test is borne by health insurances for persons insured in Switzerland. Note that presentation of the insurance company card is compulsory when having the test. 

There is no right to cancel for guests who cannot present a certificate.

From 20.09.2021, the following form must be completed for entry into Switzerland: Entry form (admin.ch)

Information concerning AXA travel insurance

For existing bookings with the conclusion of a travel insurance policy, which do not yet have a specific Corona exclusion, the following condition applies;
AXA will pay the cancellation costs for holidays and travel to countries for which travel restrictions / travel warnings apply, at the earliest 30 days before the start of the trip. Cancellation costs are also covered if travel restrictions are suddenly imposed again due to a second wave. If a country imposes entry restrictions (border, quarantine) up to a certain date, Axa will cover the cancellation costs of trips commencing before that date. If someone falls ill with Corona and is therefore unable to travel, this is generally covered, even for contracts with the additional condition Corona.
